The holidays can be the most wonderful or painful time of the year. Maybe it’s a reminder of a loved one you’ve lost, a breakup, or a feeling like you haven’t accomplished everything you wanted to this year. Nonetheless, it can be easy to beat ourselves up and soak in anxiety and sadness. However, I want to encourage you all by sharing the best news ever.
God is still writing your story. When life gets difficult or disappointing, the human tendency is to question, doubt, worry, and wonder. But God is still writing. Broken things are full of opportunities to be whole. Broken people are blank canvases of amazing potential. Redemption isn’t just an idea, it’s a beautiful storyline thread of history. God is still writing your story. While writing this, a quote came to mind. John Hagee said, “God uses no one until He first puts them through the storm. The greater your mission, the greater your storm.” Friends, God will use you for something so incredible and special. He has his hand over you and He is guiding you towards Him. He loves you endlessly and wholeheartedly. It’s a love we will never comprehend. It’s a feeling we cannot describe. So let’s give ourselves and each other grace on this holiday and remember that no matter what, Jesus is protecting us and guiding us toward a greater purpose than we know. I would love to pray for you all to close this message.
God, thank you for showing us that to know you we need only to seek and ask to find you. You have revealed yourself to us who call upon your name, Lord, and we praise you. Thank you for being with us in this present moment and always. God, ignite the fire inside all of us to chase after and search for you in every aspect of our lives. Renew in us a new love. We love you. In Jesus's name, Amen.
